We chatted with actor @Kit.Connor about his groundbreaking role in #Heartstopper on @netflix, his chemistry on set with costar Joe Locke (@joelocke03), and just what’s coming up next for the young star. ✨✨✨
Heartstopper focuses primarily on high school rugby star Nick Nelson, played convincingly by breakout star Kit Connor, and his newfound infatuation with openly gay classmate Charlie Spring (Joe Locke). The Netflix show follows Nelson as he explores the many complicated milestones that come with discovering and coming to terms with one’s own sexuality.
“There are so many things that attracted me to playing Nick Nelson… There isn’t much bisexuality representation [in media], especially male, but in Heartstopper it goes into quite a bit of depth. That was something new and fresh that I didn’t think had really been done before.” - Kit Connor

✨Day1 of #venicebiennale2022 @danielafederici reporting for @theuntitledmagazine ✨✨✨Spectacular exhibition by #anslemkiefer at #palazzoducale The perfect mix of the old and the new in perfect harmony. Kiefer was invited by the Venice Foundation to present a site specific installation of paintings that responds to one of the most important spaces in the grade salle at the Palazzo Ducale Venice.
His use of color and scale is a perfect example of the old and the new sitting perfectly together in harmony. The exhibition titled ‘These writings , when burned, will finally cast a little light.’ Is a must to see in Venice this year. … followed by a delicious lunch (of ravioli with truffles and pacceri with seafood ), with Oscar on the terrazzo at the Danieli watching the boats zip up and down the Grande Canal…. We caught with @icarly’s @nathankress for an exclusive interview to chat about Season 2 of #iCarly, as well as his newfound fatherhood and parenting podcast, Radio Active Dads.
In the sea of TV revivals and reboots on the market in 2022, very few have made quite the commercial and critical splash as iCarly, a continuation rather than a reboot of the beloved Nickelodeon comedy. And for good reason, too. Rather than recycling the same gags and storylines of the original show, iCarly squarely aims its sights on the audience that grew up alongside it, and adjusts its content to match. The decision to give the show a more “mature” attitude was one star Nathan Kress made sure to emphasize was deliberate, noting that the goal was to keep the spirit and tone of the original alive,
