🍞🍳 Mini French Toast Breakfast Sandwiches
These Mini French Toast Breakfast Sandwiches are sweet, savory, cheesy, buttery, and perfect for an easy comfort-food breakfast. Mini French toast slices, sausage patties, fluffy scrambled eggs, shredded cheddar cheese, American cheese, butter, and maple syrup come together for warm breakfast sandwiches that are melty, cozy, and loaded with morning flavor.
Ingredients
- 1 package Thomas’ Mini French Toast
- 6–8 sausage patties
- 6–8 eggs
- 1–2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 6–8 slices American cheese
- 2–3 tablespoons butter
- Maple syrup, for drizzling
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- Cooking spray or extra butter for the pan
Instructions
1. Warm or toast the mini French toast slices until lightly golden.
2. Cook the sausage patties in a skillet over medium heat until browned and fully cooked.
3. In a separate skillet, melt the butter and scramble the eggs. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
4. Place a mini French toast slice on a baking sheet.
5. Add a cooked sausage patty on top.
6. Spoon scrambled eggs over the sausage.
7. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese or place a slice of American cheese on top.
8. Add another mini French toast slice to create a sandwich.
9. Repeat with the remaining ingredients.
10. Place the baking sheet in a warm oven for 3–5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.
11. Remove from the oven and drizzle with maple syrup.
12. Serve warm and enjoy!
