On August 3, 2026, my heart lost the greatest love it has ever known. My beloved Thathi peacefully passed away, leaving behind a space in my life that can never be filled. 🤍🪽
I stayed by my Thathi’s side until his very last breath, comforting him, holding his hand, and making sure he never felt alone. What we shared in those final moments will always remain between him and me. They are memories I will protect for the rest of my life.
Many of you know that I have always shared pieces of my life with the world, allowing you to be part of my journey. But this is one chapter I want to keep private. Those who truly knew my Thathi and me already know that our bond was unbreakable and how much we meant to one another. He is my whole world.
The love my Thathi gave me is my greatest blessing. It will live in my heart for all eternity. I did not say goodbye, because this is not goodbye. I told my Thathi that I will see him again very soon. I will cross every ocean, climb every mountain, and search every corner of the universe just to see you again. I know I will find you, and when I do, I will hear you say those words again, that I am your daughter. In every lifetime, I will be your daughter, and you will always be my Thathi.
One of my Thathi’s final wishes was for his farewell to be shared with only my mom and me. We honored that wish with a private funeral. I had the honor of leading the prayers for him before we said our final goodbye, and later that same day, we fulfilled his wish by laying him to rest through cremation.
Over the past few days, I have read every message, tribute, story, and post that so many of you have shared about my Thathi. Every word has reminded me of the incredible person he was and how many lives he touched. Reading your memories has shown me just how deeply he was loved, and it has brought comfort during the hardest days of my life.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you to everyone who has honored my Thathi’s memory, shared your stories, kept our family in your prayers, and reached out with kindness. Your love and support mean more than words can ever express, and my family and I will always be forever grateful. 🙏🏼✨
