Ms. Rachel is calling out cuts to SNAP benefits, arguing that taking food assistance away from struggling families conflicts with the Christian message of feeding the hungry.

“You’re gonna complain about a child having enough food?” she said while criticizing politicians who call for a more Christian nation while supporting cuts to food assistance.

Do you agree with her?

A newly released independent review says Utah Valley University officials repeatedly tried to raise security concerns with Charlie Kirk’s team before his Sept. 10, 2025 appearance.

According to the review, UVU’s police chief texted Kirk’s private security adviser to meet about final safety measures, but that meeting “did not occur.” The report also says university officials had concerns about the outdoor setup and other security risks ahead of the event.

Kirk was later shot and killed during the event. His family has separately accused UVU of serious security failures and has taken steps toward a wrongful-death lawsuit.

The new findings add another layer to the continuing questions over who was responsible for security decisions that day.

The Justice Department says it is moving to end more than 50 long-running school desegregation cases dating back to the 1960s and 1970s.

The DOJ says many of the districts have reached “unitary status,” meaning the effects of legally mandated segregation have been eliminated and continued federal oversight is no longer necessary. Some cases have already been dismissed, while others still require approval from a federal judge.

Critics, including former DOJ Civil Rights Division chief Kristen Clarke, argue that ending the agreements could weaken protections against racial discrimination and resegregation in public schools.

A federal appeals court has handed Anthropic a major setback in its fight with the Pentagon.

A divided D.C. Circuit panel ruled 2-1 that the Pentagon can continue treating Anthropic as a “supply chain risk” for certain Defense Department procurement purposes. The dispute stems from Anthropic’s restrictions on how its Claude AI models can be used by the military.

The ruling does not resolve every part of the fight. A separate federal court ruling in California previously struck down broader government restrictions against Anthropic, finding that those measures exceeded the Pentagon’s authority.

The legal battle over how much control AI companies can keep over military use of their technology is far from over.

Tesla is facing renewed scrutiny as a major California racial-discrimination trial involving more than 6,000 Black workers gets underway.

According to Futurism, Tesla attorneys argued in court that use of the N-word can be acceptable in certain circumstances, describing some uses of the word as a “term of respect and endearment” within the Black community. The state’s case alleges Black workers at Tesla’s Fremont factory experienced racial slurs, discriminatory treatment and other harassment from non-Black employees and managers.

Tesla denies that it maintained a racially hostile workplace and has previously said it disciplined workers when misconduct was reported.

What do you make of Tesla’s argument?
