One for himself,
one for the habit of waiting.

Her chair’s still there —
same place, same silence.
Only the coffee’s colder now.

Funny how we still hold on to routines,
even after the people who made them meaningful are gone.

☕ The Empty Cup

He ordered his usual coffee — same table, same seat, same silence.
But today, the cup stayed full.

He just stared at it. Steam rising, fading… like all the things he never said.

Sometimes, it’s not about the coffee being cold.
