We are excited to announce 𝑵𝒆𝒘 𝑳𝒊𝒇𝒆 the new EP from singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist 𝑺𝑨𝑹𝑨𝑺𝑶𝑵 // Out May 22nd on Dala Records! 🌱

The New Life EP represents a new high watermark for SARASON both in terms of songwriting, arranging and production. The basic tracks were recorded in Los Angeles at Killion Sound under the guidance of expert producer Sergio Rios (Say She She, Orgone), with additional vocals, overdubs and mixing in Brooklyn at Waldin Studios with producer and Dala Records chief Billy Aukstik (Charles Bradley, Griz, Ghost Funk Orchestra).

Stylistically, New Life continues SARASON’s zigzagging trek through classic Psych, Funk, Soul and Rock sounds with stellar contributions from a bicoastal cast of collaborators including Rios and Aukstik as well as Terin Ector (Black Pumas, Adrian Quesada), Augustin Magaña (Mestizo Beat, Jungle Fire) Pete Mancini (Butchers Blind, Jimmy Webb), Mayteana Morales (Durand Jones, Pimps of Joytime), Kim Foxen (Still Brothers) and more.
