Please don’t come visit with the expectation that you’ll be holding the baby.

We would love to see you.
We would love the company.
We would love the visit.

But I may not be ready to pass my baby around.
And that’s not personal.

It’s not a reflection of how much I love you.
It’s a reflection of how much I love them.

Sometimes a new mom doesn’t need a break from her baby.
Sometimes she’s waited months to meet them and wants to soak up every second.

So come visit.
Come chat.
Come love on us.

Just understand that holding the baby might not be part of the plan.

Hi everyone!!! I’m new to this page. I’m 4 weeks postpartum with my second baby and only breastfeed her. For about a week now she has developed a rash around her neck which has spread to her face and ears. The doctor told us that it was normal and that it will go away in a few weeks. She also told us to apply oil on her and we are but it’s not helping. We try to keep her cool since it was mentioned that it could be a heat rash but it only keeps spreading to her body. I am traumatized about rashes after my first had it for over two month and the doctors at the ER didn’t know what it was until his P*P did labs on him and we found out he had food allergies at 6 months. So yes I’m scared that it can be food allergies but I also know it’s too early for that. Any thoughts or ideas on what to do or what it can be? Should I start eliminating foods from my diet? I don’t know and I’m starting to stress about it. Here’s a picture of the rashes on her.

• Nurse to sleep or not nurse to sleep?? •

How is everyone putting their littles to bed??
I start back at work in less than 2 weeks (😭😭) and I read it’s best to not rely on nursing baby to sleep because then they’ll want that all the time?

(I’m very nervous for the 4th month’s sleep regression too but also just in general)

I will NOT use the Ferber method or any cry it out. But we have started laying him down drowsy with his naps and hoping he’ll fall asleep on his own (he has only done it maybe once or twice) otherwise I nurse then rock him and hold upright for at least 10-20 minutes because he seems to always be spitting up too (any advice for that? Is it normal can I help him more?) or he’ll get really grunty and move around a bunch which usually ends up waking him up. I’m a FTM and looking for all the help I can get. I’m so nervous to start back at work too, I feel like our bond will take a step back or something 😭 Helpppp please lol. During the days he’ll only take a good nap if it’s a contact nap but sleeps good in his bassinet at night. He also does not take a paci for anything always spits it out so that’s outta the picture for him self soothing with that.
