27-year-old Dr. Maryam Shoukat, a young Pakistani doctor in the U.S., passed away just moments before receiving a life-saving liver transplant. Her husband, with the support of APPNA and a global community, raised nearly $400,000 in one day to save her life.

Her story touched hearts around the world — reminding us that even in tragedy, humanity unites.
