I have been hesitant in posting these words. I knew this man since the 1st grade. So many moments and memories over the time. We built LABK together, nothing will ever be the same. For whatever reason you've been summoned to a place none of us yet have access to. That's how I'll look at it. We will continue to build, to dream, and prosper. I know I will see my brother again someday. Your legacy will go on and not be in vain. In time, with some strength and faith I'll somehow find a way to carry forth with the vision we had. Love you bro. Forever in my heart.

We’re living in wild times.

As artists, our mission is to disrupt, bring good into the world, honor the past and build legacy towards the future. With that in mind, here’s our new campaign ad - The Black Woman is GOD.

There’s many interpretations of the higher power. Ours is rooted in reverence — not just for what’s divine, but for what’s real: the nurturers, the protectors, the visionaries, the healers. The ones who carry entire lineages on their backs with grace and fire.

Often wonder about the soul behind the eyes of captured in these type of portraits.
Like, did any of this make sense to her?
You HATE me.
You find me to disgusting and deplorable, but I can breastfeed your child?

Make it make sense.

Then the realization hits: it’s not about love or hate. Racism is merely a game within the game, designed to keep us squabbling like children over shades in a Crayola box. At its core, It’s about power — who holds it, keeps it, and how it's passed down through generations. Divide and conquer.
