Andddd it’s finally here. Our ’s stunner of a book, “Sicily, My Sweet”, has officially hit shelves! Proud is an understatement. Some words from Victoria herself: These are St. Agatha’s Breasts. In pastry form. Sicilians have a profound fascination with death, suffering, miracles and fate and many pastries in the Sicilian culinary pantheon were created to commemorate these preoccupations. These, and dozens more, are in my newly published book, Sicily, My Sweet, shot entirely on location in the three corners of the island. My friend Gabriela designed the tablecloth. The surly kid is my son, just after scaling up and over the 400 year old baglio wall (we forgot the keys). Those parkour lessons finally came in handy.
