Putnam Ave in the Bedford-Stueyvesant neighborhood of Brooklyn now bears the name of Wu-Tang Clan's late Ol' Dirty Bastard.

ODB, born Russell Tyrone Jones, has a mural depicting the cover of his first solo album on that street, and his grandmother still lives on that corner today, per Jones' brother Ramsey, who spoke at the event renaming the street back in July.

ODB passed away in November 2004 from an accidental overdose.
