Last night, we helped light the Diocese of Brooklyn Christmas Tree 🎄 at Grand Army Plaza in Brooklyn! (which is 27 feet tall and has 16,000 LED lights!) Thank you to our whole team for your work on making this annual tradition so special for the whole community. #Christmas2021

1️⃣ Bishop Emeritus Nicholas DiMarzio was honored with the St. John Paul II Distinguished Stewardship Award.
2️⃣ It was Bishop Robert Brennan's first luncheon as the Diocese of Brooklyn's bishop.
3️⃣ Editor Emeritus of The Tablet, Ed Wilkinson, was presented with the Emma A. Daniels Benefactor’s Award.
4️⃣ Robert Schirling, Chairperson of Divine Wisdom Catholic Academy, received the Spirit of Hope Award and children from the academy performed.
5️⃣ Last but most certainly not least, we got to gather in-person this year for a wonderful event that benefits #CatholicEducation and #YouthMinistry by providing scholarships for students in need.

Bishop DiMarzio stated, "I do not think there is anyone more qualified than Monsignor Ogle to be the next Vicar for Clergy and Consecrated Life and Chairman of the Board at DeSales Media. He is an excellent communicator and that will serve him well in both roles."
