Director Geordy Skolnick is an actor, writer, producer, and comedian. Having been in the business for 10 years starting in Manhattan, NY. He values every work given to him. He enjoys exploring the creativity of a story and the "no limit" journey it takes. It is timeless creativity, morbid elements, and lightheartedness to an otherwise dark world that needs to be expressed. Raised in the Bronx in the '90s and having battled depression and anxiety, Geordy was able to find the light to be the person he needed to be by letting love in and the desire for more. He does his best everyday to make moments count and put passed pain behind him. He hopes to give audiences amazing entertainment by facing their fears of the intense unknown. The deepest parts of our mind is the trauma we may have faced in the past and finding the strength to move forward despite it. The future tends to be the scariest part of it all. Many of us struggle with trauma in some way shape or form and struggle with their own demons. His only wish is that the work he can create can do for others what so many films have done for him... the peace of knowing you're not alone in being different.

Our latest short Madame Dietrich is no exception. It is a dark comedy that lives in that sweet spot where absurdity collides with the deeply human. At its heart it is about a day in the life of an eccentric psychic, but like any Laughing Hearse story nothing stays ordinary for long. The world bends, reality cracks, and humor lurks in every uncomfortable moment. This was a true low-budget labor of love made with the scrappy energy that comes when a small team throws everything they have into building a bizarre living breathing world. It is theatrical, a little unhinged, and just the right kind of midnight movie strange. If you have ever wondered what would happen if a surreal stage play, an old screwball comedy, and a fever dream shared the same address Madame Dietrich might be your answer. 🎥
