The Summer Documentary Labs at UnionDocs are designed for filmmakers who are early on in their process of creating a nonfiction feature and are seeking support, community, and momentum. The first, the Early Production Lab (6/30 - 8/1), is meant for folks who have recently begun filming and have some footage to work with, while the second, our Research and Development Lab (8/11 - 8/29), is an especially good fit for artists whose ideas and production plans are still taking shape
