📍Kestane Kebab. A Turkish family-owned restaurant that is struggling to keep its doors open. I dined in unannounced to give me honest unpaid opinion. After hearing their financial struggles, I decided to give them an extra “tip” Located in Greenpoint Brooklyn where it lacks a Turkish community and is in need of the support from Greenpoint and Williamsburg community.

📍Cote Korean Steakhouse with a Michelin Star. One of the best Korean BBQ experiences where they cook right in front of you with high quality Steaks. Usually dined in with group of friends or family, but I decided to have a solo dinner experience here

📍La Cachette Du Coin. I went back to the struggling woman-owned restaurant with no customers and New York showed up. Unfortunately the service was not able to handle the influx of customers that came because of a backend error in the reservation apps which caused people overbooking when the reservation apps was supposed to close out the hours. Chef Eva and the team will be closed Monday Tuesday Thursday (May 11-May 13) to hire new workers to prepare for the upcoming days. Business will continue May 14 Thursday. I apologize to all the mothers and families for the inconvenience this has caused.

📍La Cachette Du Coin a woman-owned Haitian/French restaurant struggling to get customers come into her restaurant which is causing her to close 2-3 days out of the week to cut costs and to survive. I decided to dine in unannounced in a disguise to give my honest unpaid review.

I went back to 📍Zaffron Bloom to see if there was any update. One of the sweetest family-owned struggling restaurants that did not have enough publicity, but deserves it because of their amazing Persian food and hospitality.

📍Zaffron Bloom a Persian Struggling family-owned restaurant that has the sweetest hospitality where the mom and dad cook and serve you the amazing Persian food and make you feel like family. The daughter had to get another job to help support the family restaurant to keep it afloat. This place definitely deserves the recognition and to be tried out
