He is done! Not perfect, but done 😂
Edited to answer FAQs because I can’t keep up 😅 thanks for all the kind words!
-He is from Walmart but going in and out of stock.
-I used regular hobby lobby brand acrylic paint.
-I sealed him with spray polycrylic.
-I did not prime but many people do.
-I will store him in my shed when the season is over. He comes apart in 3 sections.

Before and after of a 1925 quartersawn oak dresser I recently restored! I found this thing tucked in the corner of my local Goodwill - covered in a gross black varnish and about an inch of dust. There are no words for the excitement and disbelief I felt when I stripped off that first layer of varnish and saw those stripes!!! It is the most beautiful wood grain I’ve probably ever seen. I didn’t take many progress photos, but am happy to answer any questions. She went to her new home today and I miss her already 😂
EDIT: I’ve been corrected that this is likely maple or mahogany, NOT oak. Rookie mistake! 😄
