On our episode #417, is joined by Ellia Park () & Chef Junghyun “JP” Park (), wife & husband team, originally from Seoul, South Korea, who co-founded the acclaimed -based restaurant group, Na:eun Hospitality, which includes Atomix (), a two Michelin star, tasting menu restaurant located in NYC’s Rose Hill, which has earned 3 stars & is currently #12 ; Atoboy () in NoMad; NARO (.nyc) in Rockefeller Center; & Seoul Salon (.nyc) in Koreatown — all focusing on Korean cuisine. 🎧✨

As CEO, Ellia is recognized for her innovative leadership, spearheading the operations & service programs across Na:eun’s establishments, contributing to their global acclaim. In 2022, was awarded the ‘Gin Mare Art of Hospitality’ by The World’s 50 Best Restaurants, & in 2025, recognized by for Outstanding Hospitality. JP was recognized as Best Chef: NY State (2023) , & his 1st cookbook, The Korean Cookbook (), was published in 2023. He is also a contributor to Shari’s book. In 2024, Ellia & JP opened C.E. (), a culinary lab in Seoul dedicated to advancing Hansik through innovation & research. Pam is an inspirational Thai chef, who has become an international culinary figure, and is serving up progressive, stimulating cuisine in a historic setting. Pam was named Asia’s Best Female Chef in 2024, and The World’s Best Female Chef Award in 2025 by . ✨

Originally training to become a journalist, Pam turned to cooking and studied at the Culinary Institute of America, & trained under renowned chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten in NYC, before returning to Bangkok. In 2019, when her family’s 120-year-old Chinese herbal pharmacy building became vacant in Bangkok’s Chinatown neighborhood, she took over the space with her family, & after an extensive renovation, created Potong, a one-star Michelin restaurant; currently #13 on Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants 2025, featuring a tasting menu where she tells stories of her family’s unique heritage through some 20 courses of progressive Thai-Chinese cuisine.

Shari had the pleasure of dining at a few days before this in-person interview in late April, and celebrate Pam’s accolades today with her at in Turin, Italy, including Potong receiving #13/highest new entry. Big congrats!! 👏👏
