🎙️ NEW EPISODE: I’M STILL STANDING BETTER THAN I EVER DID 🎙️

What happens when burnout stops being “I need a vacation” and becomes your body formally refusing to participate in your life?

This week, I’m joined by Ashleigh Grave of Ashleigh Grave, CNP, Holistic Nutritionist for a conversation about severe burnout, chronic stress, the physical warning signs she never expected, and what finally forced her to rebuild her entire life.

Her story is proof that your body will try to warn you.

And if you continue ignoring it?

Apparently, it is prepared to escalate the matter.

But before we get to Ashleigh…

My mother may or may not have acquired a Words With Friends boyfriend.

She says we don’t know FOR SURE that he’s a scammer.

I respectfully disagree.

And after a very long absence, one of my favorite recurring segments has finally returned:

THE AUDACITY FILES.

The newest case began with one very simple problem.

Months later, we have yet to establish exactly how - and possibly whether - anyone involved has a working brain.

That is all I’m telling you.

Burnout. Recovery. A suspicious online companion. A customer-service investigation. And several moments that made me question whether intelligent life has been successfully located.

“I’m Still Standing Better Than I Ever Did” is available now wherever you listen to podcasts and on YouTube!

🎙️ ONE YEAR OF NO HARD FEELINGS…KINDA 🎙️

One year ago today, I released the very first episode of No Hard Feelings…Kinda.

At the time, I had no idea what this show would become - or everything that would happen while I was trying to build it.

During this first year, I unexpectedly found myself suddenly without a co-host and had to decide what the future of NHFK would look like. I chose to keep going on my own, even when I wasn’t completely sure I knew what to do.

As fate would have it, after some time down the road, a former guest turned friend - and then friend evolved to co-host. Together we created a monthly bonus spinoff, This, That & The Trouble.

Shiri, I am eternally grateful for you. I’m grateful that this podcast brought you into my life, grateful for the friendship we built after your interview, and grateful that you agreed to join me for the beautifully unhinged conversations we now get to share every month.

In just one year, NHFK has reached more than 82,000 streams, almost 7000 Spotify followers, more than 1,200 YouTube subscribers, over 3500 five-star ratings, and listeners around the world. We’ve charted internationally, built a private community called The After Party, launched journals and merchandise, created recurring segments and an entire spinoff - and somehow turned complete chaos into something that actually means something to people.

But this year wasn’t only about numbers.

I recorded dozens of conversations with people who trusted me with some of the most personal, painful, powerful, and hilarious parts of their lives. I received messages from listeners who told me an episode made them feel seen, helped them feel less alone, or made them laugh when they desperately needed it.

And all of this happened during a very difficult and unpredictable year of my own life.

I ‘ve been managing lupus that seems to have a personal vendetta against me. I watched my son graduate from high school. I learned that my mother’s cancer came back and she’s been getting chemo. I welcomed another young person into my home. I nearly lost my five-pound Chihuahua THREE TIMES and somehow watched her survive the impossible.

There were technical disasters, unfinished interviews, unexpected departures, personal emergencies, moments when the numbers stopped moving, and plenty of times when I questioned whether I was qualified to do any of this.

But I kept going.
And so did the show.

To every guest who trusted me with their story, every listener who pressed play, every person who followed, subscribed, commented, shared an episode, joined The After Party, purchased a journal, or told someone else about this podcast: thank you, I don’t have enough words to express how much your support means to me.

And to my Troublemakers - thank you for allowing me to create a place where trauma and humor can exist in the same conversation, where none of us has to pretend life is perfect, and where we can laugh without minimizing what we’ve survived.

One year down.

Year Two begins now.

Therapy is expensive.
Share your chaos with me…for FREE.

Happy first anniversary, No Hard Feelings…Kinda. 💖🎙️

Gaslighting: The Subtle Ways Minds Are Manipulated

Ever feel like you’re losing your mind over small things? That deliberate act of hiding a toothbrush battery is just one example. The cracks become craters; the small annoyances turn into a deep sense of unease.

ToxicRelationships

08/19/2026

Have you ever found yourself questioning your own sanity, that little voice inside screaming ‘danger’ even when everything on the surface seemed fine? Host JoJo recently navigated a chilling encounter with a stranger on the road, where her instinct quickly shifted from self-doubt to survival mode. This visceral experience, where women often go from questioning ‘Am I imagining this?’ to ‘What do I do next?’ in mere minutes, mirrors the complex reality of recognizing and escaping danger, whether it’s from a stranger, a casual date, or even someone you love. It’s this innate, often ignored, instinct that forms the core of an essential conversation with guest JayDee Milo, unpacking the insidious nature of narcissistic abuse and toxic relationships.

Unpack narcissistic abuse, toxic relationships, and the power of trusting your instinct. Learn why emotional manipulation makes these bonds hard to break, and find a path to healing.
