It gets exhausting when you have to explain basic things to an adult—like answering a text, being honest, or making time for you. You start feeling like you're asking for too much, but you're not. Stop asking "how do I make this work?" and start asking "why am I working so hard for something that gives so little back?" You deserve peace. You weren't asking for too much, you were just asking the wrong person.
