On June 21, 2026, the Sun will climb higher than any other day of the year, marking the arrival of the Summer Solstice the longest day and shortest night in the Northern Hemisphere.

For thousands of years, civilizations have celebrated this moment as a symbol of light, renewal, and the powerful rhythm of Earth’s journey around the Sun. From golden dawns to endless twilight skies, this is the day summer truly begins.

A reminder that even the cosmos has seasons and this is the season of light.

Hidden beside the fading glow of dawn on June 13, 2026, the Moon will drift quietly near the Pleiades one of the most beautiful star clusters visible to the naked eye.

Known as the “Seven Sisters,” the Pleiades lie over 440 light-years from Earth and have guided storytellers, navigators, and skywatchers for thousands of years. On this rare morning, the delicate lunar crescent will appear close enough to frame the cluster in the same binocular view.

Most people will sleep through this subtle celestial meeting… but those who look up before sunrise may witness one of the sky’s most peaceful hidden wonders.

Before dawn on June 7, 2026, the sky will ignite with one of the year’s most underrated celestial spectacles the Arietids Meteor Shower.

Although most Arietid meteors streak across the sky during daylight hours, patient skywatchers can still catch rare “earthgrazers” slicing low across the eastern horizon in the final dark moments before sunrise.

Traveling at nearly 41 kilometers per second, these meteors are fragments left behind by an ancient comet or asteroid, burning brilliantly as Earth passes through their invisible stream. Under ideal dark skies, up to 30 meteors per hour may become visible to the naked eye.

Look east about an hour before sunrise, find a spot away from city lights, and let the quiet sky reveal one of astronomy’s hidden treasures.

June 2026 will carry the Moon through every phase of its celestial journey from the silent darkness of the New Moon to the glowing beauty of the Strawberry Full Moon.

Each phase changes the night sky in its own way, but June 29 will shine brightest as the Strawberry Moon rises to welcome the heart of summer. Named by Indigenous tribes for the wild strawberry harvest season, this full moon has inspired skywatchers for centuries.

Whether you love astronomy, photography, or quiet nights under the stars, this month offers a perfect reminder that the sky is always changing and always worth watching.

Under the fading glow of twilight, the Moon, Jupiter, and Pollux will form a rare celestial triangle in the western sky on June 17, 2026. 🌌

Jupiter, the largest planet in our solar system, will shine brilliantly beside the delicate crescent Moon, while Pollux, one of Gemini’s brightest stars, watches from above like a golden lantern in the night.

A quiet reminder that even across billions of miles, the universe still knows how to bring worlds together.

Tonight: June 06, 2026 the two brightest planets in our night sky will appear remarkably close together above the western horizon.

Just after sunset, Venus will shine like a brilliant white beacon while Jupiter glows softly nearby, creating a rare celestial pairing visible to the naked eye.

For a brief moment, the evening sky will feel perfectly balanced two worlds separated by hundreds of millions of miles, yet appearing side by side from Earth.

Find a clear western view, wait for twilight to deepen, and watch the horizon come alive with light.

LOOK UP, June 12 will bring one of the most elegant sky pairings of the month.

In the quiet hours before sunrise, a slender waning crescent Moon will rise beside Mars, creating a striking contrast between soft lunar light and the planet’s deep amber glow.

The Moon, illuminated by less than 10%, will appear delicate against the fading night sky, while Mars shines steadily nearby at magnitude 1.3 easily visible to the naked eye.

Set against the colors of approaching dawn, the encounter will be visible low above the east-northeast horizon roughly one hour before sunrise.

A brief celestial alignment.
Subtle. Rare. Unforgettable.

LOOK UP ! This summer, the Moon has three unforgettable nights waiting for us.

On June 29, the soft glow of the Strawberry Moon will rise over warm summer skies, marking the season of long nights and quiet wonder.

A month later, the Buck Moon arrives on July 29, named for the time when young deer begin growing their antlers beneath the midsummer moonlight.

Then, on August 28, the golden Sturgeon Moon closes the season with a deep amber glow once treasured by fishermen and skywatchers alike.

Three full moons.
Three different stories.
One summer written in moonlight.

Before sunrise, the sky will whisper something extraordinary. 🌌

Across three quiet June mornings, the Moon will drift past Neptune, Saturn, and Mars each encounter painting the horizon with a different kind of wonder.

On June 9, the fading crescent glides beside distant Neptune beneath a sky filled with starlight.
On June 10, Saturn rises beside the Moon like a golden lantern above the mountains.
And by June 12, a razor-thin lunar crescent meets the red glow of Mars in the desert dawn.

Three mornings.
Three celestial encounters.
One unforgettable week beneath the cosmos.
