Wyoming Man Builds Private Wildlife Crossing After Getting Tired of Waiting for Elk

A Wyoming man is being asked to remove an unauthorized wildlife crossing he constructed over a rural highway after becoming frustrated with waiting for elk to cross the road.

The man reportedly spent most of the summer building a narrow wooden bridge approximately 14 feet above the highway after determining that the elk near his property were responsible for making him late for work several times each winter.

He said the project took three months, $4,700 and “a lot more lumber than I originally figured.”Wildlife officials initially believed the structure was an abandoned utility project until trail cameras captured several elk actually using it.

The man says the bridge has worked better than expected and claims his morning commute has improved by almost seven minutes.Officials have ordered him to remove it because he did not obtain permits to build over the highway.

He has appealed the decision, arguing that nobody required the elk to get a permit before crossing underneath it.Three elk were reportedly standing on the bridge during the inspection.

BREAKING: A family of raccoons was spotted squatting in a home in Marcus Hook.

Neighbors have complained after residents spotted them hanging out of the second-floor window in broad daylight. No one knows how they got inside either. They sort of just appeared one day and are now refusing to leave.

The mother was seen looking out the window with her baby by her side, while another raccoon appears to remain on lookout duty from the third floor.

Just another normal day in the Marcus Hook.

Hello all, just got into the wonderful hobby of leather working. This is my "very first" craft. A .410 shell belt holder with loops.

Stitching is way harder then it look like when watching videos 😮‍💨. The needles I have are sharp points, are round ones a huge difference?

I say first craft but i actually did two ugly things while waiting for all my tools to arrive.

Rumors are spreading that truckers are sleeping on fuel islands and refusing to fuel as diesel prices hit record highs again today.

Some drivers are reportedly parking right at the pumps and saying enough is enough—that diesel has gotten so expensive it’s not even worth running anymore.

Some people are calling these truckers selfish for blocking fuel lanes, while others are rooting them on and saying this might finally get the attention of truck stops and force fuel prices lower.

Would you support truckers doing this, or is blocking the fuel island taking it too far?
