She allegedly killed her own baby to frame a rival. She threw enemies into w**e vats. And she became China's only female Emperorā€”ruling for 50 years.

This is the true story of Empress Wu Zetian (624-705), the most controversial ruler in Chinese history.

šŸ² THE SHOCKING TRUTH:
Wu Zetian rose from a low-ranking concubine to become the only woman to rule China as Emperor (not just Empress). Her methods were brutalā€”historians claim she smothered her infant daughter and blamed Empress Wang for the murder. When Wang was arrested, Wu reportedly said: "Now these witches can get drunk to their bones"ā€”before having her hands and feet cut off and drowning her mutilated body in w**e.

But here's what most people don't know: despite the horror of her rise to power, Wu's reign was extraordinarily successful. For nearly 50 years, she stabilized the Tang Dynasty, expanded China's borders (Korea became an ally), crushed rebellions, and created unprecedented prosperity.
