Long Island, New York welcomed me with the rainbow as it rained cats and dogs upon my arrival. I vibed to Davido's songs to boost the mood. When I saw the rainbow 🌈 I knew New York would be a blessing. My niece played with my hair to practice cornrow. I played Uno with my nephew and niece and thought I was gonna teach them Uno, but they schooled me. I was happy to see grandaunt after 10 years because we always miss each other whenever she is in the States. The next morning, the morning devotion lasted for 2 hours. I guess thats is what you get when you stay in a pastor's house, a morning revival 😄 I did some work and then we headed for Koinonia USA- Sound of Revival, New York with Apostle Joshua Selman. I was looking forward to seeing Minister Dunsin Oyekan as well, but I only saw Apostle Joshua Selman and Pastor Nathaniel Bassey. The program was fulfilling with lots of miracles, healing, and testimonies. Check out next post for more of the Koinonia USA and other stories of my New York adventure.

Mount Laurel Township, New Jersey, was exciting for me because I was closer to New York, my destination for the day. To say I was euphoric is an understatement. I had a conversation with my cousin about Yoruba's famous food, Amala, and how the wedding guests were rushing to get some at wedding in Miami Florida, the previous weekend, and she shared why people love eating Amala in the US. Watch the post for the tour of New Jersey.

Boothwyn, Pennsylvania, had an outstanding interior design and decoration of their Pennsylvania Welcome Center. It was nostalgic to visit as I recalled that my flight had landed in Pennsylvania a month ago enroute for my military training. Also, that was the first state I explored in the United States besides New York and New Jersey.

Newark, Delaware, was spectacular as I was impressed by the Biden Welcome Center. It had everything travelers need. I met some pleasant Asians there and we took photos together. I was in a vibrant mood as I intended to get to New York the same day, so I left for Pennsylvania passing through Wilmington, Delaware, after exploring the Welcome Center and it's surrounding.

Washington, D.C was for nature. While many go to D.C for business and politics, I stopped by at the National Arboretum to see the trees. The beauty of nature was well preserved, and the natural environment was exhilarating. It felt good to see mammals, birds and insects in their natural habitat living as they should. I do hope to visit again someday with friends and family. I was in D.C. a year ago and I had visited museums, White House, and other exciting places so I opted for somewhere more conservative this time.

West Virginia was serene. The terrain was breathtaking with the trees well lined. As a city girl, it will be a great place for some tranquility. It was a relief taking a short break at the Welcome Center at Princeton, West Virginia, before heading to Washington DC.

Bastian, Virginia was foggy upon arrival. Being in Virginia was nostalgic for me because the last time I was there, it was snowing, which was during my military MOS training.
It felt safe to spend the night there, as I was able to shower the next day. I didn't exactly know where I was as I had arrived in the rain far into the night. However, the cashier told me I was in Virginia and that West Virginia was just few minutes away once I cross the bridge.

Charlotte, North Carolina, rained, and it was quite stormy as I had to drive through the fog. However, I was glad for safety after a long rainy day. I was a bit upset earlier on because the meal I bought, Chicken and Wedges with Sprite, at a popular fast food restaurant was crap, and I had to settle for my garri, milk, and mixed nuts. I was relieved to find a traveler's rest stop to take a break after I went to one that was unusable.
One popular thing about Charlotte, North Carolina is that it is the headquarters of Bank of America.
