Sometimes the most meaningful stories aren’t shot on set—they’re lived in real time, between City Hall vows and sidewalk kisses.

Like many creatives, I had to adapt when the WGA and SAG strikes disrupted the industry. That shift opened the door to something unexpected: intimate weddings like this one. Small moments. Real emotion. Zero pretense.

And honestly? I’ve come to love them.

Recently, I photographed a celebration overflowing with respect, admiration, and love so real it brought tears to my eyes behind the camera.

I don’t always shoot weddings… mostly because I have zero patience for bridezilla energy 😅

But when it’s the right people? When there’s real joy, real love, and everyone’s just vibing? I’m all in.

This day was all heart — a rooftop view, perfect light, and two beautiful people who couldn’t stop smiling (or kissing). It’s wedding season, and when I say yes, I’m saying yes to the kind of energy you want to bottle up and save forever.
