To everyone who supported Stance Simulator
I want to explain why Stance Simulator is no longer receiving updates and why the game is currently unplayable.
Stance Simulator was my very first serious game project,
I started creating it while I was still learning Unity and C # programming. For over three years, I learned by experimenting, making mistakes, and trying to improve the game as I went.
Looking back, I realized I was trying to build a complete game before I fully understood how to design one.
The project slowly became difficult to manage, many systems were built without a clear plan, and eventually I reached a point where I couldn't continue developing it properly.
The best way I can explain it is this:
It's like trying to create a professional song while you're still learning how to use music software for the very first time.
You learn a lot, but the final result isn't what you originally imagined.
Some people also asked why Stance Simulator used real-world car model,
The reason is simple: at that time, I was focused on learning game development and the Unity engine, not building a commercial game,
My goal was to practice programming, physics, and gameplay, Now that I have more experience, I understand the importance of creating original content for a serious release.
Because of everything I learned from Stance Simulator, I'm now developing a new project,
This time I'm approaching development differently—with better planning, cleaner code, and lessons learned from the past three years. My goal is to build a game that is stable, meaningful, and officially released on mobile platforms.
At the moment, my PC is no longer working, so development has temporarily stopped while I work towards buying another computer.
That's also why I haven't been posting progress updates recently.
I haven't given up.
I'm simply preparing to come back stronger.
Thank you to everyone who played Stance Simulator, shared feedback, and supported me (Ayanda M. Luthulii)
