Manhattan is fast and expensive.
Brooklyn is proud and trendy.
Queens is underrated and full of flavor.
The Bronx is loud and loyal.
Staten Island feels like NYC’s suburban cousin.

Long Island might be two different worlds pretending to be one island. Nassau and Suffolk definitely do not have the same personality.

Connecticut might be the most confused state in the Northeast.

Half the state feels like New York’s quiet, expensive cousin…
and the other half feels like New England with better pizza and more traffic.

Fairfield County feels tied to NYC.
New Haven has pizza arguments serious enough to start wars.
Hartford gets treated like the forgotten middle child.
Litchfield feels like quiet money and weekend houses.
And eastern Connecticut actually feels like New England.

NYC, Long Island, Hudson Valley, Upstate, Western NY, Adirondacks, Catskills — everybody thinks THEY are the real New York.
