Yesterday, as part of my efforts to support the growth of our tourism industry in Kogi State, I spent some time at the Ogidi Day New Yam Festival — where I was accorded with the honour of being the Special Guest of Honour.

In my remarks, once again, I reiterated that to drive cash flow into our economy, we must make events like the Ogidi New Yam festival tourist attractions for larger audiences across the country and the world.

I thank the community, the organisers, and all our Royal Fathers for the warm reception that I and my delegation received.

Moving forward, I remain committed to my mission to make you and all the families in Kogi State happy.
