If you stand at just the right angle near Liberty & Greenwich Streets, the glass façade of a neighboring building reflects One World Trade Center almost perfectly. 👀

For a moment, the reflection creates a striking image that feels like a visual echo of the Twin Towers. 🕊️

Save this spot for your next NYC walk and see if you can catch the illusion yourself.

It’s not a second tower—it’s architecture, glass, light, and perspective coming together.

THE FIRST PLANE

“At 8:46 a.m., New York City changed forever.”

Just moments earlier, it had been an ordinary September morning. Then, in an instant, everything changed.

The first impact marked the beginning of an attack that would forever alter New York City, the United States, and countless lives around the world.

Remember. Honor. Never Forget.

Episode 1: 🕊️ The Last Morning

People went to work. Parents dropped their children at school. Commuters boarded trains. Coffee was poured. Offices opened. Life moved as usual. ☕️🚇🗽

No one knew that before the morning was over, New York City and the world would be changed forever.

This September, I’ll be sharing stories throughout the month about the people, heroes, first responders, and ordinary individuals whose lives were forever connected to that day.

Not for the tragedy alone, but to honor their lives, their courage, and the brave souls who helped others when it mattered most. 🕊️❤️

25 years later, we remember.

Remember. Honor. Never Forget.

The Survivor Tree

Among the hundreds of trees at the 9/11 Memorial stands one that carries a story unlike any other.

This Callery pear tree was discovered in the wreckage of the September 11 attacks—its bark burned, its branches badly damaged, and much of it reduced to stumps.

Yet it was still alive. 🍃

The tree was carefully nursed back to health at a Bronx nursery before being returned to the 9/11 Memorial in December 2010.

Today, every spring, it blooms again—beautifully reminding us that even after unimaginable devastation, life can find a way to grow again. 🕊️🌸

25 years later, its story of resilience still stands.

Manhattan just gave Dolly Parton her own day—and honestly, we can’t think of a more fitting tribute!

September 25 is officially Dolly Parton Appreciation Day in Manhattan, celebrating the country music icon, philanthropist, and legendary songwriter who has given the world decades of unforgettable music.

From “Jolene” to “9 to 5,” Dolly has given us songs that became classics, stories that stayed with us, and a whole lot of heart. 🎤

New York knows a legend when it sees one. 🗽❤️

Happy Dolly Parton Appreciation Day! 🎀
