We're back! 👋😁

It feels like ages since our trip to New York, but we've been manic busy!

Now we're back on the road and this time we've landed in Nashville, Tennessee! 🇺🇸🤠🎸

Over the next few days we'll be exploring the city, checking out the famous sights, trying the local food and taking you along for the adventure.

23 hours later and we've finally reached our destination for the next 10 days 😴

We finally made it to Madrid after our flight was delayed for several hours.

I'm so glad I'd booked the hotel inside the Terminal as I couldn't have handled having to get a cab somewhere following that delay.

All set for an evening of culinary excellence now... Laura's just been and got us a McDonald's 🍟😁👌

Our New York adventure finally comes to an end as we board our flight from JFK to Madrid on the journey home to Spain.

What should have been a straightforward trip quickly turned into another travel challenge — we only had one hour to make our connection in Madrid. With a 12-hour wait for the next flight to Alicante if we missed it, the pressure was on.

Along the way there’s also a small treat for Laura. After everything she did to look after me during the trip (and the blizzard chaos that kept us stranded in New York), I arranged something special for the flight home that I knew she would absolutely love.

From boarding at JFK to the race through Madrid Airport, this is the final chapter of our New York trip.

It was finally time to say goodbye to New York 😭

Our last day in the city begins with Dunk stopping by his favourite bar in the world — The Perfect Pint in Times Square — for one final farewell before heading to JFK Airport for the journey home to Spain.

After everything the trip threw at us, from the blizzard to being stranded in NYC for a few extra days, it felt like the right way to close the chapter on an unforgettable visit.

There was also a small surprise waiting for Laura at the airport. As a thank you for looking after me throughout the trip, I arranged a little treat for the flight home — something I knew she’d absolutely love.
