ABRAHAM LINCOLN: VENGEANCE AT THE HAUNTED WHITE HOUSE
Chapter 1: The 3 A.M. Portrait
The White House never sleeps. But at 3:03 A.M., it dreams.
Donald Trump wakes to the sound of a stovepipe hat rolling across the Lincoln Bedroom floor. Clink... clink... clink. The portrait above the fireplace is different tonight. Lincoln’s eyes follow him. Then blink.
“Fake news,” Trump mutters, pulling the covers up. But the whisper that answers doesn’t come from Fox.
“Four score and seven nightmares ago...”
Chapter 2: The Cabinet of Shadows
It starts spreading. The Press Secretary finds her briefing notes rearranged into the Gettysburg Address, written in ash. The Chief of Staff sees a tall, gaunt shadow in the Situation Room monitors — always just behind him, never when he turns.
In their dreams, they’re summoned. One by one. A courtroom made of fog. Lincoln presides, his face hollow, beard dripping spectral ink. The charge: “Crimes against the Union.”
They wake up screaming. Their Fitbits log 0 hours of REM sleep.
1. The Emancipation Ghost
The VP tries to hide in the Eisenhower Building. But every TV he passes flickers on — Lincoln, speaking directly to him: “A house divided against itself... cannot tweet.” The screen cracks.
2. The Midnight Proclamation
Trump finally confronts the portrait. “What do you want?!” The painting weeps black blood. Words carve themselves into the Oval Office desk: “You freed the markets. Now free your conscience.”
3. The Last Debate
The team locks themselves in the War Room. Safe. Until Lincoln phases through the table. He doesn’t speak. He just points to the nuclear football. For one terrifying second, the case reads “1865” instead of 2026. Then he’s gone. Morning staff find them all asleep under the table, clutching copies of the Constitution.
Final Scene: The Stress Fracture
Polls dip. Staffers quit. Trump’s on Truth Social at 4 A.M.: “TOTAL WITCH HUNT by Dead President! I was the BEST for ghosts, nobody knew ghosts like me!”
But in the mirror behind him, just for a frame, Lincoln tips his hat.
The White House historian later finds a new line scratched into Lincoln’s desk:
“I walk the halls not for vengeance. But to remind you: The Union is always watching.”
Is he back?
Or did he never leave?
