"Dahkil & Russell's collaboration, The Darkroom Diaspora: Griots of Visual Memory, reimagines Russell's 40,000+ image archive-a decades-long documentation of Bed-Stuy and Black life-with new energy.
Together, they've created The Streets Were Watching: a visual memory project blending
photography, oral history, and Al-powered metadata to preserve and extend the resonance of Russell's work.
