The Windowsill Wobble 🐾💥
The afternoon sun warmed the rustic stone windowsill, casting a golden glow over the three fluffiest conspirators in the garden. They sat shoulder-to-shoulder, looking like a picture-perfect postcard.
On the left, Barnaby, a heavily striped tabby, felt the warm breeze hit his face. A massive, jaw-stretching yawn overtook him. He closed his blue eyes so tight they wrinkled, tilting further and further to the side as he leaned into the stretch.
Thump.
Barnaby toppled sideways, planting his fuzzy forehead right into the ribs of Sylvester, the black-and-white tuxedo kitten in the middle. Sylvester’s eyes popped open to the size of dinner plates. Startled by the sudden fuzzy projectile, Sylvester gasped, lost his footing, and recoiled violently to the right—straight into Pippin, the bright orange tabby.
Pippin never saw it coming. The impact knocked him clean off his paws. With a tiny, dramatic squeak, Pippin slipped backward over the ledge.
For a split second, time seemed to freeze. Barnaby was face-down on the wood, Sylvester was frozen in absolute shock, and all that remained of Pippin were two tiny, orange front paws gripping the edge of the windowsill, cartoon-style, before he gently dropped into the soft bed of purple flowers below.
