That’s not a dolphin. 😬 Foil surfers Tavis Boise and Ron Takeda tell The National about a shark went into full pursuit mode while they were riding the waves in Santa Barbara, Calif. Foil surfing is a specialized form of surfing that involves riding a board equipped with a hydrofoil — a long, hydrodynamic fin that lifts the board above water to create a flying sensation. Boise says the shark may have been attracted by the foil’s resemblance to a sting ray, resulting in a game of cat and mouse.
