🔥 FROM THE ALTAR 🔥
TOPIC: TRUSTING GOD WHEN LIFE MAKES NO SENSE
Preacher: Samuel Kayode Ojo
Main Text: Proverbs 3:5–6
Hallelujah!
Praise the Lord!
I want to welcome you to another powerful moment on From the Altar, on Esteem Studios.
I want you to open your heart because I believe God has a word for somebody today.
There is somebody watching me right now who is asking:
“God, what is happening to me?”
You have prayed.
You have cried.
You have tried your best.
But somehow, things are not going the way you expected.
Today, I came with a simple message:
TRUST GOD!
Even when you don't understand Him.
Even when you cannot see the way.
Even when your prayers seem unanswered.
TRUST GOD!
Proverbs 3:5–6 says:
«“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.”»
Somebody say:
“Lord, I trust You!”
1. STOP TRYING TO FIGURE EVERYTHING OUT
Sometimes our biggest problem is that we want to understand everything God is doing.
“God, why me?”
“God, why now?”
“God, why did this door close?”
“God, why did this person leave?”
But listen to me:
You don't need to understand everything before you trust God.
When a child is walking with his father, the child doesn't need to know where they are going.
He simply holds his father's hand.
That is what God wants from us.
Hold His hand!
You may not know the destination, but God knows the way.
You may not understand the process, but God knows the purpose.
Trust Him!
2. YOUR DIFFICULT SEASON IS NOT YOUR FINAL DESTINATION
Look at Joseph.
Joseph had a dream.
But after the dream came the pit.
After the pit came slavery.
After slavery came prison.
But prison was not the end of Joseph's story.
The palace was waiting for him!
I came to tell somebody:
Your pit is not your final destination!
Your disappointment is not your final destination!
Your financial struggle is not your final destination!
Your rejection is not your final destination!
Your delay is not your final destination!
God is still writing your story!
Don't give up because of one bad chapter.
The chapter may be painful, but the story is not over.
3. GOD'S DELAY IS NOT GOD'S DENIAL
Somebody is waiting.
You have prayed about something for months.
Maybe even for years.
And you are asking:
“When will God answer me?”
Listen carefully:
God has not forgotten you.
Ecclesiastes 3:11 says God makes everything beautiful in His time.
Not your time.
His time.
Abraham waited.
Joseph waited.
David waited.
And eventually, the promise came.
Your waiting season is not wasted.
While you are waiting, God may be preparing you for the blessing you are praying for.
So don't stop praying.
Don't stop believing.
Don't stop trusting.
4. WHEN THERE IS NO WAY, GOD CAN MAKE A WAY
The Israelites stood before the Red Sea.
Behind them was Pharaoh.
In front of them was the sea.
They had nowhere to go.
But God specializes in situations where there seems to be no way.
He made a way through the sea!
Maybe your situation looks impossible today.
Maybe you have looked everywhere and found no solution.
Maybe you are saying:
“I don't know what to do anymore.”
I have a word for you:
God knows what to do!
Where you see a wall, God can create a door.
Where you see an ending, God can create a new beginning.
Where you see impossibility, God can reveal His power.
5. DON'T GIVE UP!
I want to speak directly to somebody watching me.
Don't give up!
Don't give up on your dream.
Don't give up on your family.
Don't give up on your future.
Don't give up on your prayer life.
And most importantly,
DON'T GIVE UP ON GOD!
The devil wants you to look at your situation and conclude that God has abandoned you.
But I came to remind you:
God is still with you!
If He brought you through yesterday, He can carry you through today.
If He opened doors before, He can open another door.
If He provided yesterday, He can provide again.
CONCLUSION
My brothers and sisters,
You may not understand everything happening in your life.
But you can trust the God who understands everything.
When you don't understand—trust Him!
When you are waiting—trust Him!
When you are hurting—trust Him!
When the door closes—trust Him!
When there seems to be no way—trust Him!
Because God is faithful.
🙏 CLOSING PRAYER
Father, in the name of Jesus, we thank You for Your Word.
Lord, I pray for everyone watching right now.
For the person who is discouraged—give them strength.
For the person who is crying—give them comfort.
For the person who is waiting—give them patience.
For the person who sees no way—make a way!
Let every impossible situation receive a divine solution.
Restore hope.
Restore faith.
Restore joy.
And let every difficult season become a testimony.
From today, let them receive the grace to say:
“I don't understand it, but I trust You, Lord!”
In Jesus' mighty name,
AMEN!
🔥 FINAL DECLARATION
Say it with faith:
“My situation will not destroy me!
My delay will not stop me!
My disappointment will not define me!
God is still working in my life!
My story is not over!
I will trust God!
I will keep believing!
I will not give up!”
God bless you.
This is From the Altar, on Esteem Studios.
Until we meet again, keep trusting God!
