And to think it all started with a USB rock band microphone and the free recording software “audacity”. In 2009, I acquired an MXL xlr style mic from a friends father who had passed away. I quickly realized the xlr connection couldn’t just be plugged into my laptop so I started researching and found out how and why condenser mics need 48 volt (phantom power). This snowballed into a deep passion and troubleshooting mindset of continuing to better the quality. Here we are all these years later! Still growing, still learning, still loving every bit of what we do here at Occupy. Here’s to always learning!!!

I’ve been doing a lot of work recently to shift gears for the business. Occupy Studio has been offering the best quality you can find locally for recording/mixing/mastering music for 6 years. Now, I’m proud to announce we are offering complete audio/video system installations for commercial and residential.

So far we’re working on:

-In wall/ceiling surround sound systems for homes
-Outdoor patio audio/video systems
-Audio systems for businesses
-Full blown sound/video streaming systems for churches

We’ve already started some pretty sweet projects this months and I’m excited to see what else we can do as the word gets out what we’re capable of providing people.
