In my freshman year of high school, I went to one of my closest friend’s houses and met his father, . After graduating, and not knowing what I wanted to do in life, I was given an opportunity by him to change my lifestyle, which turned into a career. I have never forgotten those whose help paved the road ahead of me, and I have been trying to do the same for others in our community. None of us are perfect, but he is a genuine person who believed in me and gave me an opportunity, and thats what we all should be doing for each other. My legacy in 2026!

Good morning. I am not surprised by the victory in this election. These are my facts: Yes, Trump is cocky, but he also stood up for what he believed in. You never saw him kiss anyone’s ass, and he always said what he meant and meant what he said. We, the minorities, don’t take voting seriously. We do more talking than walking. The one thing our ancestors and civil rights leaders fought for was the right to vote. We have to re-educate our communities on why we need to vote and get involved in politics. I will be damned if my voice or opinion is not heard regarding who will be our next mayor or councilman in my city. Your vote helps secure the grants and programs that are needed for our children’s housing, education, and summer camps for those who really can’t afford to send their child. Learn to get involved and voice your opinion. If we truly stand by our people, then anything is possible!
