The Dinner Dance is a celebration of the New Jersey Medical School community and an acknowledgment of the individuals within it who work hard and inspire us every day. This year we will be honoring Dr. Kathyann Duncan from the department of family medicine at University Hospital, Mr. Victor Marques from the Office for Diversity and Community Engagement and Dr. Ondrea McKay a recent NJMS graduate and PM&R resident at University Hospital.

Today marks the integration of UMDNJ into Rutgers and Rowan Universities, and the creation of a newly independent University Hospital. It is a historic day for higher education in New Jersey.

Most of UMDNJ has been incorporated into Rutgers within Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences (RBHS). “Like” the new page for RBHS (http://on.fb.me/10tCVa7), which is now live, and follow for updates throughout the day on https://twitter.com/RutgersU.

Rutgers Health takes the integrated approach of educating students, providing specialized and compassionate clinical care for its communities, and conducting innovative research, improving health for all.
