The town's infrastructure is insufficient, leaving many households without piped water, forcing them to rely on contaminated sources like rivers and streams

Some possible Causes of the Water Crisis are

-Lack of Infrastructure: Inadequate water supply systems and sanitation facilities contribute to the crisis.

-Climate Change: Changing rainfall patterns and environmental degradation affect water availability.

-Conflict and Displacement: The ongoing Anglophone Crisis has displaced people, straining existing resources.

-Economic Factors: Limited financial resources hinder investment in water infrastructure.

- Population Growth: Rapid growth puts pressure on existing water systems.

*Impact on Residents:*

The water crisis has severe consequences, including increased risk of waterborne diseases like cholera, dysentery, and typhoid fever. Women and children often bear the burden, spending hours fetching water from distant sources.
