RGIII fires back at the legacy talk defending Josh Allen 🔥🏈
After First Take turned up the pressure on Josh Allen’s legacy, Robert Griffin III wasn’t having it. With Cam Newton and Ryan Clark framing this postseason as “Super Bowl or bust” for Allen especially with Mahomes, Lamar Jackson, and Joe Burrow out of the way RGIII pushed back hard, calling out the idea that a ring-or-failure narrative defines greatness.
With the AFC field wide open and younger QBs like Trevor Lawrence, C.J. Stroud, Justin Herbert, Drake Maye, and Bo Nix left standing, the debate exploded: is this Buffalo’s best chance ever, or is the standard being unfairly moved?
RGIII’s message was clear elite play doesn’t disappear just because the bracket changes, and reducing Allen’s career to rings alone is “don’t-know-ball” energy.
And after the Bills knocked off the Jaguars in the Wild Card, Allen’s still writing his answer on the field.
