📣 Partnership Announcement – Appreciation to Alex Dweh TV

We’re proud to recognize Alex Dweh TV as the first production group to officially provide their films for publication on BanaBridge TV.

Their early trust, collaboration, and belief in our platform demonstrate true leadership and commitment to growing Liberian and African storytelling globally.

Because of this pioneering support, Alex Dweh TV will be prioritized for future opportunities, including upcoming funding initiatives, co-productions, and filmmaker support programs as BanaBridge secures resources for new projects.

We deeply value partners who move first, build together, and help create opportunities for everyone.

To all producers and directors:
If you’re ready to distribute your films and collaborate with us, now is the time. Early partners grow with us.

Let’s build the future of African cinema; together.

OFFICIAL STATEMENT FROM BANABRIDGE LIBERIA INC.
August 8, 2025 | Monrovia, Liberia

Subject: Attempted Abduction of BanaBridge CEO; A Call for Urgent Action on Public Safety

BanaBridge Liberia Inc. strongly condemns the attempted abduction of our Chief Executive Officer, which occurred on the morning of Friday, August 8, 2025, along the Capital Bypass in Monrovia.

Our CEO was enroute to the studio in Lakpazee Zoo Community to continue production on the second edition of her newly launched podcast when she was violently attacked inside a kehkeh (commercial tricycle taxi) after boarding from Broad Street. The vehicle was occupied by men wearing black hoodies and nose masks. In what can only be described as a calculated and targeted act, one of the men forcibly restrained her while the kehkeh driver deliberately ignored her pleas for help.

Through the grace of God, her courage and quick thinking, she managed to escape by raising her voice and drawing public attention, prompting her attackers to throw her out of the moving vehicle. She suffered severe pain in her right ankle and is currently receiving medical care and trauma support.

We are grateful that her life was spared. However, this incident serves as a stark reminder of the growing threat to the safety of women and professionals navigating Monrovia's streets every day.
BanaBridge Liberia Inc. calls on the Government of Liberia, the Ministry of Justice, and the Liberia National Police to immediately investigate this incident and take robust steps to ensure the safety of all commuters, particularly young women, who remain highly vulnerable to gender-based violence and abduction attempts.

We also encourage the public to remain vigilant and report suspicious behavior. No one should ever fear for their life simply because they boarded public transport.

As a company deeply committed to storytelling, community empowerment, and nation-building, we will not be silenced or intimidated. This traumatic experience has only strengthened our resolve to amplify stories that matter; stories that demand justice, protection, and change.

Signed,
Management
BanaBridge Liberia Inc.
