What a week . Chased Turkey and Pig at the Hard Wood Ranch in Oaklahoma owned by the McEntire family with Rob Peters who works for Whitetail Properties. Yes Reba McEntire family. Food was cooked daily by the infamous Susie McEntire, Reba’s famous sister and her son EP and Helper Susie’s Granddaughter (in Pic). Chased Turkeys but they was not cooperating due to few days of bad weather. Wild pigs , shot first pig ever at 20 yards #5 shot turkey gun . Was first to do so at Ranch . Shot coyote at 10 yards setting on a boulder in the wee hours of daylight talking to birds. Was 40 miles from Sulpher Oaklahoma where the recent tornado destroyed it. Had 27 tornadoes in one night. Was a blast! First class hunting facility with 5500 acres to chase game. Blast

Doubled today with Rich Flowers. Been pulling doubles on a hill we call Turkey Hill for 24 years . Hunt always ends with breakfast at my mom’s afterwards! Was another epic year , keeping the tradition alive!

2023 Ohio after playing with Jakes we heard a Tom . We split up and Dusty scored on a nice bird with it spitting snow. Crazy season for sure

Second bird in Kentucky 2023 had a bit of a twist for day 2 . Cold, windy 25 mph constant. Blind was collapsing so decided to pack it up. Was in middle of taking down when I looked behind me a see 2 giant Tom’s headed my way! No where to hide no where to move so just went for it. Couldn’t believe how was going down. Funny part of story . I always attend a church of 40 people when I go down on Sunday. Devil was like skip let’s go hunting. I choose to go to church first. Then hunt. Only thing I can say is after this hunt Lord definitely blessed me in the morning choice. No other explanation for what happen! Complete insane hunt.

Well had a good Turkey season In Kentucky this year. Here is video of first kill of 2023. Not so good of luck in Ohio due to power company replacing poles clear through the Ohio Turkey season .
