This is my last wedding, and I could not be more grateful. The past year in the wedding DJ industry has been horrible. The late night texts the day before the wedding-making changes and asking ridiculous asks, the disrespect, the chauvinistic comments, the kids running and throwing things on the dance floor while parents are no where to be found. New brides and grooms- please get your plans together when your wedding DJ asks you to. Don’t make them chase you down. And most of all, don’t scoff at the price tag that hiring a talented DJ comes with.

I’m here to give some advice to couples planning a wedding 😊
1. If you aren’t working with a wedding planner, have someone appointed to help with ceremony lineup, grand entrance, relay info to the DJ all night.
2. Things aren’t going to go exactly as planned (timing of dances, etc). Be okay with that and enjoy the special day.
3. Do things at the pace you need them to occur-it’s your wedding.
4. Your guests will be on the dance floor if you are on the dance floor.
I pride myself on the level of detail and time I put into every wedding. Don’t settle on a mediocre DJ.
