We have updated Benji’s diagnosis in original post. Benji boy is going to need surgery first.

🌴 Help Benji Heal 🌴

🐾Second edit to add on Benji’s hip dysplasia diagnosis. We have got some suggestions from the vet to help Benji be more comfortable. Benji will be having a FHO (Femoral Head Osteotomy) to help with pain and his limping. He is bone on bone at this time. He will need surgery first and 2 week recovery so please pray and still needing donations to help the cost of his surgery. All donations go directly to the surgery and his aquatic therapy when he is cleared for it. Please share so we can help Benji.

Edit to add: 🐠 Benji was diagnosed with hip dysplasia! PAAWS and Benji’s care team are confident physical therapy will be his best treatment plan, as he does not currently show signs of pain and is very active. Pictures of Benji’s x-rays in the comments! 📸

Sweet Benji has an old injury that didn’t heal properly and is causing him some mobility issues. The vet has recommended Aquatic Therapy at Canine Aquatic Center to get this boy back in tip-top shape! Luckily for Benji, he LOVES the water!

We’re asking for donations to not only strengthen Benji’s hind leg, but it would also give him the opportunity to live out his dreams of being the doggie version of Michael Phelps. 🏊🏽
