Today marks the start of No Shave November for Newburyport PD! You will begin seeing NPD officers this week patrolling the City in their new face sweaters. This year we will be supporting the For Kids With Cancer charity. There are families right here in Newburyport that have received donations for CFKWC. Over the years, CFKWC has donated more than $5,000,000 to over 900 families battling childhood cancer. This work is only made possible through donations from police departments, companies, and everyday people just like you! Trick-or-Treat in Newburyport will be held on Halloween, October 31st. If you choose to participate, please remember to turn your exterior house lights on so visitors know to stop for a treat! Trick-or-Treat runs from 5:30pm-7:30pm. That said, please traverse your neighborhoods safely: remember traffic safety rules and carry flashlights or wear reflective gear to alert nearby motorists of your presence. Happy haunting!!

June 13 – Islands and Villages by Merrimack River Watershed Council
Cruise up river from Newburyport to Rocks Village. Local historian and author D**e Hendrickson will share fascinating stories and points of interest along the voyage.
Boat departs from Waterfront Park, Newburyport.
Time: 5:30 – 7:30 PM (rain date – June 20)
Tickets – $60 per person – Registration Required, limited capacity on boat.
