August 31 630PM. CAL FIRE and partner agencies are responding to the North Fire in the community of Diamond Springs. It is currently 15 acres with ground and air resources on scene. Evacuation orders are currently in place by the El Dorado County Sheriff's Office.

Last night right before midnight - Central Calaveras Fire, CalFire and West Point Fire responded to a vehicle fire on N. RRF road.

The vehicle was fully engulfed when units arrived on scene, our combined crews made a quick work of putting the fire out; preventing any extension to vegetation.
