NPD just stopped a vehicle after observing a male riding on top of it while the vehicle was going down the bypass. Unit has requested Coweta Cares respond to the scene.

Be careful out there, hoping the individual gets the assistance they need for whatever they are going through.

The City of Griffin Police Department is currently investigating a critical missing person case. Barbara Mask, pictured below, is missing. She is 69 years old and has dementia and trouble walking. She was last seen at Takle Eye Doctor, 646 South 8th Street in Griffin, around 4pm on Tuesday, December 16, 2025. She lives on Alabama Road in Meansville. She does not have a phone. If you see or have contact with Ms. Mask, please call 911.
