FIRST BABY OF 2026 ... Piedmont Newnan Hospital welcomed its first baby of 2026 at 1:39 a.m. on Thursday, January 1.

Parents Tatyana Thompson and Artemius Heard from Fairburn welcomed a healthy baby boy, Tahj, who weighed 7 pounds, 2.3 ounces and was 19 inches long.

The family is pictured with their labor and delivery nurse, Yuli Riscajche, RN.
