I wrote a similar “note to self” exactly four years ago today on the morning of our last election… and then I blinked or so it seems. I’m sharing this note again with hope that it will encourage a friend or family member scrolling today, perhaps bombarded with fear, worry and all things “What if?”. I opened my Bible this morning and was reminded to “look up”. I hope you’ll do the same and keep looking up because one day it won’t be a blink of the eye but the twinkling of the eye😉❤️
📝Note to self on this Election Day and all others:
Psalm 5:3 “My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.”
🤍God is on His throne. Christ is at His right hand and “Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Romans 3:23 is still available today.
💙God has a plan and a purpose. He always has, always will and it will always be accomplished.
Psalm 46:10 “Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.”
1 Timothy 2:1-4
“I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.”
Luke 18:27 “And he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.”

Psalm 112:7 “He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the Lord.”
1 Corinthians 15:51-52 “Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.”❤️
