This bright Spring morning Ricky and I are delivering Spring break bags to a local school from Backpack Buddies. It is our first time volunteering for this organization which provides bags of food for students who are food insecure over the weekends and school breaks. We plan to get some of our groups involved as time goes on and to get a tour and interview with them soon.
In the mean time they are always in need of the following items:
Soup and Ravioli cans
Ramen Noodles
Mac N Cheese boxes
Granola Bars
Oatmeal and Grit packs
Individual fruit cups [big need]
Peanut Butter Crackers
