Had a great lunch at Duke's Malibu yesterday with Candy Bass talking old times of the Wave Watch days with her late husband John who created the show and produced it for 104 episodes in the '80s into the '90's, you can still view a selection of those shows that have been digitized on Fuel TV.

Opening in California theaters this weekend "Waterman", the life story of Duke Kahanamoku, from Olympic Gold medals, too exposing surfing around the world, his acting in Hollywood years, to the "Ambassador of Aloha" for Hawaii, to being one of America's greatest sportsmen of the early 1990's.
See a portion of the museum's current exhibit "Finding California Surf" come to life on the big screen with the 1925 Corona Del Mar rescues.
A must see, all over California theaters this weekend!

A great shoot yesterday for Surf Scene episode #4 on the HB Pier with Courtney Conlogue, talking story on yesterday her years on the USA National Team, today all her endeavors with Sea Tiger, Joylon and a whole lot more and tomorrow a quest for a WSL World Title(she's been 2nd twice) and Olympic qualification for 2024!
Look for it to air in December!
